PROJECT, PROGRAM & PMO ASSURANCE
Are your delivery practices giving leaders the confidence they need?
Cherry provides an independent assessment of how your projects, programs and PMO work together, including governance, tools, processes and communication channels.
Walk away with an executive assurance report, prioritised recommendations and a practical 90-day improvement plan.
Typically delivered within 12 weeks of the agreed start, with timing agreed upfront.
We take on a limited number of engagements at a time.
Tools and processes create extra work
Teams duplicate information across systems, and nobody is sure which version to trust.
Communication doesn’t lead to action
Important issues surface in meetings, email and chat, but decisions and follow-through get lost.
Your PMO is busy, but is it helping?
Reporting takes time, yet leaders and teams still lack the insight and support they need.
Reports don’t give you confidence
You receive regular updates, but can’t trace the reported position back to reliable delivery evidence.
What you walk away with
An independent assessment, practical recommendations and a 90-day improvement plan, brought together in one executive assurance report.
Executive assessment
Prioritised recommendations
What’s working, where gaps affect delivery confidence and the evidence behind the findings, including governance, tools, processes and communication.
What to improve first, why it matters and who should own the changes across your delivery teams and PMO.
90-day improvement plan
Practical actions, proposed owners and sequencing, with measures to check whether the changes are helping.
Before we start
We agree the business unit or portfolio boundary, up to two programs and five projects in total, the review questions and stakeholder interview list.
Weeks 1 to 3: Establish the picture
Your Cherry consultant reviews available documentation and agreed tool views to understand your governance, methodology, processes and communication channels.
Weeks 4 to 8: Test how it works
We conduct up to fifteen one-hour stakeholder interviews and compare working practices with documented processes, reporting and decision records.
Weeks 9 to 12: Findings and improvement plan
We prepare the report, recommendations and 90-day improvement plan, then present them in an executive readout of up to two hours. One consolidated feedback round allows factual corrections and clarification before final handover.
Twelve weeks to assess delivery practices and identify improvement priorities.
The timeline is indicative. We can agree a faster delivery schedule depending on scope, availability and timely access to the right people and information.
The 90-day improvement plan begins after the review, when your organisation agrees to put the recommendations into action.
HOW IT RUNS
What we need from you
An accountable executive sponsor, a contact to coordinate access, and availability from the agreed stakeholders across leadership, the PMO and delivery teams.
Access to all available relevant documents, including meeting notes, plans, reports and governance records, plus agreed views of your tools, processes and delivery communication channels.
Your team will need to clarify gaps, contribute to the executive readout and provide one consolidated response to the draft report.
