PROJECT AUDIT & RECOVERY
You know your project is off track. But why?
Cherry gets to the bottom of what’s going wrong, what’s driving it, and what it will take to get your project back on course.
Delivered within 4 weeks of the agreed start.
Walk away with an independent assessment, realistic options and a prioritised recovery plan.
I take on a limited number of engagements at a time.
SOUND FAMILIAR?
01
The status report says amber, but nobody can tell you what amber actually means.
02
The plan keeps moving and each new date comes with a fresh explanation.
03
You’ve been asked to decide something and you don’t trust the information in front of you.
04
Your sponsor wants a straight answer and nobody on the project is in a position to give one.
What you walk away with
One report covering three areas.
Executive findings
Recovery options and recommendation
Realistic recovery options, the tradeoffs and practical implications of each, and Cherry’s recommendation based on the assessment.
Where the project really stands, the evidence behind that assessment, and the main issues affecting delivery.
A prioritised recovery plan
What to do first, proposed owners, immediate decisions and what to stop.
HOW IT RUNS
Four weeks from agreed start to clear decisions.
Before we start
We agree the project, review boundaries, required information and start date.
Week 1: Establish the picture
We meet, confirm the key questions and review the available schedule, status information and supporting documents.
Weeks 2 to 3: Test the evidence
Your Cherry consultant reviews project documents, speaks with key people and tests the reported position against delivery evidence to identify the underlying issues.
Week 4: Findings and decisions
Your Cherry consultant walks you and your sponsor through the findings, options and prioritised recovery plan.
What we need from you
A sponsor to report to, access to the agreed project people, and the schedule, status information and supporting documents needed for the review.
Delivery within four weeks depends on timely access to the agreed information and people.
Is this for you?
✓ Good fit
You own or sponsor a project that feels off, need an independent view, and are prepared to act on the findings.
✕ Not the right fit
You need someone to take over day-to-day project management, or you need a review with a predetermined conclusion.
